Ludington!

Here are a few pictures from our camping trip to Ludington! No order because I have about 15 loads of laundry to put away (went to the laundry mat this morning) but I'll try to explain each one!
This is Dave and Jenny on the tandem bike we rented. We rode 1.5 miles out to Big Sable Lighthouse. It was beautiful there. Here we are at the top of the lighthouse. It was windy!
Here are the girls at Lake MI the first night we were there...

and the last night...

The beautiful sunset...

Abbey's using my old fashion camera(you know, the one that you use film)

We found a fun spot where a river runs right into Lake MI and there was a huge drop off so they were running and jumping into deep water right of the edge...

Abbey like playing on the sand...she became a mermaid!

Another picture at the lighthouse

We spent a lot of time at the beach.

And celebrated Father's Day on Sunday! Happy Father's Day, Dave!! Abbey made him a shirt, Jenny made him a hat and Kelly made him a collage picture of lots of fun times we had!

We had a great weekend riding bikes, playing in the lake and just goofing around together!!

Catching UP!

Well, it's been awhile since my last post so I'll catch you up on what's been going on in the Feenstra household!
Kelly finished off the year in band with a concert... another concert...
and marching in the Memorial Day parade! They sounded great!!!She's loving summer...this is her with our neighbor's dog, Gracie. Kelly will be off to 8th grade next year! I can't believe she'll be in high school next!!Jenny is loving summer...especially caterpillars. She has caught several and she's been keeping them in a bug box. They usually turn into cocoons but no butterflys (moths) yet.

Jenny's 2nd grade class made books about MI (Jenny did MI plants) These books were on display at an art show in downtown Grand Ledge and they will travel to Mackinac Island this summer to be on display there. Jenny is spending her summer days playing littlest pet shop, taking classes in tennis, arts and crafts and swimming.
Abbey's had a busy few weeks. She also had her art work displayed at the art show...

She got her ears pierced and then had 5th grade recoginition. She will join Kelly next year in Jr. High!

She had a girl scout sleepover last night. They worked on an outdoor cooking badge...let's just say, they didn't go hungry.

Here's the family at Abbey's 5th grade rec. We're all excited for summer...hoping it warms up soon so we can take the boat to the lake!
