We went for a little ride that explained how Jelly Belly's started and how they are made. We HAD to wear the hats
We got to see some awesome art work all made from Jelly Belly's!

We played a round of 3-D mini golf which was really fun!
And went on tons of rides. There were a few body rides and a lot of tube rides.
There was a lazy river in one part. We met our friends-the Breukinks at the hotel-we had adjoining rooms so we ate dinner together and watched MSU lose together.
There were a lot of water falls and toys and slides and fun!
Here are the adventure riders...they just got off the Hurricane!
We walked around the hotel and they kept stopping here...the candy store...who can resist all these beautiful colors. Everything is so shining..it's just begging you to come in and taste...we made a few purchases here!
And the ultimate Lazer Tag battle...Adults vs. Kids...
Even though I took all these pictures so I really wasn't a contributor to the game...

But we all had lots of fun!!!
We had a quick breakfast and then I took everyone on the tour. We went to my old grade school--it used to be Milwaukee Christian--even though we were in Brookfield but they have changed the name--and expanded the building and got a new mascot! We got a tour of the new school from the principal who is an uncle to one the girls I went to school with. His niece is Sue Brasser--or Sue B. as I know her! He said he also knew Sue T., whose husband is principal in Oostburg, and now he's met me so he's seen all three of the Sue's-who he called legendary! (I guess it is quite unusual to have 3 Sues in a class of 8-10 kids who went to school together from K-8th grade and then on to high school together!)
except our car looked like this...
My brother Dan had this car parked next to the house while he was on his bike trip around the U.S. which took about 2 years (with a break of a few months for him to work so he could buy another bike after his was stolen.) I had quite a few kids ask me if I lived in the house with the Zebra car.
JENNYJenny also started swim lessons. She's doing great and she'll be all set for camp this summer.
DAVE
Dave had all four wisdom teeth pulled plus one more tooth this past Thurs. He is doing remarkably well...just a touch of swelling...no bruising but he's still eating soft food. He heals very fast and the stitches are coming loose because the swelling has gone down so much.
He's working on some new potential business ideas at work so hopefully that will all work out for him.
SUE
I'm too busy...is that enough? I'm trying to help plan for the May fashion speaker and it's seems like so many other things come up that I need to do first that the speaker project gets put on hold but it really has to get done. We are expecting to sell out 500 tickets for Friday night and 500 tickets for Saturday and all the work that goes into that...let's just say, I picked an awesome partner to help me accomplish this huge task-Heather Vanderlaan is the leader of the mom's group I used to go to and she has incredible organizational skills and this event will happen successfully because of her.
I'm leading Jenny's Girl Scout troop...which is fun but keeps me busy--especially during Cookie time. I helped Abbey lead the Painting badge which is also more planning. I'm doing some bigger things at the group I lead at church-Club Mom and Girlfriends. Plus, I still need to get laundry, dishes, helping with homework, being a mom and wife. Keeps me busy...so sorry for the delay of updating the blog...this should hold you for a while!
Today was Girl Scout day at the Women's MSU basketball game. Here are a few girls from Jenny's troup--all the ones with the snowcones. There are 13 in the troop and here are 5. It was a fun day!
I guess, since I now have MSU wear, I am a Spartan fan. I've been a "Switzerland" fan for the 16 years we've lived in Lansing (by Switzerland, I mean I wouldn't choose MSU vs MI) but since we've been going to the Women's game this year, I've become a fan. Sorry to Switzerland.
